BOP Vapour Blasting

BOP Vapour Blasting offers an innovative new surface treatment that can restore your engine components to showroom condition. Vapour blasting is non-corrosive, removing the dirt, corrosion and contamination without damaging delicate components. Vapour blasted surfaces are easy to clean and do not mark from contact with oil or other substances. The before and after photos demonstrate the unbelievable finish provided only by vapour blasting.

This result is achieved by a slurry of glass beads and water being accelerated at the component at a relatively low pressure. The water cushions the impact of the beads, allowing a gentle process that polishes the component to a stunning satin finish. No blasting matter is embedded in the surface, unlike traditional sandblasting and soda blasting techniques.

Vapour Blasting can also be known as aqua blasting, wet blasting, vapour honing.
